Description

Cozy & Creamy Apple Cider Cheese Fondue for Fall Gatherings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ cup apple cider (not vinegar)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened and cubed
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss or Gruyère cheese (about 8 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add apple cider and bring just to a light simmer.
  2. Whisk in cream cheese cubes until melted and smooth, stirring frequently to prevent clumps.
  3. Gradually add Swiss or Gruyère, one handful at a time, whisking constantly until smooth.
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and nutmeg. Mix until creamy and fully combined.
  5. Pour into a fondue pot or heat-safe bowl and keep warm. Stir occasionally while serving.
