Description

Crispy egg rolls filled with savory beef and melted cheddar cheese, perfect for appetizers or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 10 egg roll wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add coleslaw mix, green onions, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  4. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper.
  5. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly, sealing the edges with water.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  8. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
