- 1 large yellow onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 2 limes
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Water or broth (enough to cover the meat)
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by chopping the pork shoulder, dicing onions, mincing garlic, and preparing the green chiles.
- In a large pot over medium heat, add oil and sauté onions until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add minced garlic for the last minute.
