- 1 cup cranberry sauce (fresh or canned)
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ketchup or BBQ sauce (optional)
- 1–2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or orange juice
- Optional garnish: chopped parsley or whole cranberries
Instructions
- Combine cranberry sauce, brown sugar, and ketchup or BBQ sauce in a medium saucepan or slow cooker.
- Stir in apple cider vinegar or orange juice for brightness.
- Add cocktail sausages and coat them gently with the sauce.
- Simmer over low heat on stovetop for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce is thick and glossy.
- Alternatively, cook in slow cooker on low for 2–3 hours until hot and sticky.
- Transfer to serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley or fresh cranberries if desired.
- Serve warm, ideally with toothpicks for easy finger food.
