Creamy Crock Pot Chicken Marsala is a comforting dish that combines tender chicken with a rich, velvety sauce and earthy mushrooms.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz fresh mushrooms (cremini or button)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
- ½ cup dry Marsala wine
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic and mushrooms until softened.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; place them in the bottom of the crock pot.
- Layer the sautéed mushroom mixture over the chicken.
- Pour in chicken broth and Marsala wine; stir gently to combine without disturbing the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 4 hours. Stir in heavy cream before serving and warm through for 10 minutes.
