Description

A comforting and cheesy baked ziti dish perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, basil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the cooked ziti to the cheesy marinade and mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
