- 1 cup milk
- 1½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 pinch salt
- ¼ cup butter
Instructions
- Whisk the eggs in a large bowl.
- Add the milk and vanilla, and beat until combined.
- Sift the flour and salt over the egg mixture, then stir until smooth. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Melt the butter in a 9×13 dish in the oven for 3-5 minutes.
- Pour the batter into the melted butter and bake for 20-25 minutes until brown and puffy.
- Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar.
