- 1 seasoned beef patty (approximately 1/4 pound)
- 2 slices of melty cheese (cheddar, American, or Swiss)
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the beef patty with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patty for 4-5 minutes on one side until browned.
- Flip and cook for 3-4 minutes more, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Remove the patty from the skillet and set aside to rest.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.

- Grill for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.

- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
