- 1 tablespoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1 teaspoon Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme Leaves
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 stick Salted Butter
- 1 tablespoon Cajun Spice Mix
- 1 tablespoon Lime Zest
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Chives
- 6 ounces Top Sirloin Steaks
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine all the spices for the Cajun blend. Set it aside.
- In a glass mixing bowl, blend together the butter, 1½ tablespoons of the Cajun spice mix, lime zest, parsley, and chives.
- On a flat surface, lay out 1-2 pieces of plastic wrap. Spoon the Cajun butter mixture into the center and roll it up tightly to create a log about 1½” in diameter. Refrigerate.
- Lay the Top Sirloin steaks on a baking sheet. Coat both sides with the remaining Cajun spice mix. Let them rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to 450°F.
- Grill the steaks for 4 to 6 minutes on each side, until they reach medium rare at 125°F.
- Transfer steaks to a platter. Top each with a ½” slice of the Cajun butter and let them rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice the steaks and serve them warm, with optional extra Cajun butter on the side.
