Ingredients

  • 8 mini sausages or cocktail sausages
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Edible candy eyes or dots of mustard/ketchup for decoration
  • Flour, for dusting the surface

Instructions

  1. Set oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly dust a surface with flour, roll out puff pastry if needed, and cut into ¼-inch strips using a knife or pizza cutter.
  3. Wrap each sausage with 2–3 strips of pastry, leaving a gap near the top for eyes.
  4. Brush each wrapped sausage lightly with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  5. Bake 15–18 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
  6. Cool slightly, then place edible eyes or small mustard/ketchup dots in the open space.
