- 8 mini sausages or cocktail sausages
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Edible candy eyes or dots of mustard/ketchup for decoration
- Flour, for dusting the surface
Instructions
- Set oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly dust a surface with flour, roll out puff pastry if needed, and cut into ¼-inch strips using a knife or pizza cutter.
- Wrap each sausage with 2–3 strips of pastry, leaving a gap near the top for eyes.
- Brush each wrapped sausage lightly with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake 15–18 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
- Cool slightly, then place edible eyes or small mustard/ketchup dots in the open space.
- Enjoy warm with your favorite dipping sauces!
