Description

Tender salmon glazed with a sweet and tangy honey pineapple sauce, delivering tropical flavors perfect for a flavorful and juicy main dish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 to 3 tbsp honey
  • ½ cup pineapple juice or crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 to 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime or lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • Optional garnish: pineapple chunks, lime wedges, chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, lime or lemon juice, and minced garlic until smooth.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly oil the surface.
  4. Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until seared.
  5. Pour the honey pineapple glaze over the salmon and spoon it over the fillets while simmering for 3 to 5 minutes, until cooked through and glaze thickens.
  6. Transfer salmon to plates, spoon extra glaze and pineapple chunks on top, and garnish with lime wedges and cilantro.
