- 100g dark chocolate (60-70% cocoa)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and set aside.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface until about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into squares or rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of chopped chocolate in the center of each square and fold over to seal, using a fork to press down the edges.
- Brush each pastry with an egg wash for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar. Serve warm and enjoy!
