Description

Wild Mushroom Pesto Pizza is a gourmet delight that combines earthy wild mushrooms with vibrant basil pesto atop a baked crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 8 oz mixed wild mushrooms (shiitake, cremini)
  • 1/2 cup pesto sauce
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sauté sliced mushrooms for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
  4. Spread pesto sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough. Top with sautéed mushrooms and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Transfer the pizza onto a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil before slicing and serving.
