Wild Mushroom Pesto Pizza is a gourmet delight that combines earthy wild mushrooms with vibrant basil pesto atop a baked crust.

- 1 lb pizza dough
- 8 oz mixed wild mushrooms (shiitake, cremini)
- 1/2 cup pesto sauce
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sauté sliced mushrooms for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
- Spread pesto sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough. Top with sautéed mushrooms and mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer the pizza onto a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil before slicing and serving.

- Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.
- Can add extra toppings if desired.
