Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cold heavy cream
- ½ tablespoon dried culinary lavender
- 3 tablespoons icing sugar (powdered sugar)
Instructions
- In a clean jar or container, combine the cold heavy cream and dried lavender flowers. Stir gently to mix, then cover with a lid and refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours to allow the lavender to infuse the cream.
- After infusing, pour the cream through a fine mesh strainer to remove the lavender flowers.
- Using a whisk or an electric mixer on high speed, beat the lavender-infused cream until soft peaks form, approximately 2 minutes.
- Add the icing sugar and continue beating for another 1 to 2 minutes until medium to firm peaks form.
- Transfer the whipped lavender cream into an airtight container and keep it refrigerated if not using right away.
