Description

Mouth-Watering Moroccan Herb Stuffed Flatbread is a flavorful dish packed with fresh herbs and spices.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • ½ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ cup fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast.
  2. Gradually add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the chopped herbs, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, black pepper, and lemon juice.
  6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into equal portions. Roll each portion into a circle, place a spoonful of the herb mixture in the center, and fold the edges over to seal.
  7. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each stuffed flatbread for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
