Ingredients

- 8 oz strong brewed coffee
- 1–2 tsp brown sugar
- 1.5 oz Irish whiskey
- 2 oz heavy cream, lightly whipped
- Optional garnish: grated nutmeg or chocolate
Instructions
- Brew about 8 ounces of strong coffee.
- Warm a heatproof glass with hot water; discard the water afterward.
- Add 1-2 teaspoons of brown sugar to the glass and fill it with hot coffee until three-quarters full. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
- Pour in 1.5 ounces of Irish whiskey and stir gently.
- In a separate bowl, lightly whip 2 ounces of heavy cream until it reaches soft peaks.
- Carefully pour the whipped cream over the back of a spoon onto the coffee mixture, allowing it to float on top.
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, replace whiskey with strong cold-brew coffee or spiced syrup.
