- 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup Creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin or use silicone muffin cups.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl until fully combined.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Combine the dry mixture with the wet ingredients gradually, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips gently into the cookie dough.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough into each muffin cup, pressing down slightly.
- Place about 1 teaspoon of peanut butter in the center of each cookie cup.
- Cover the peanut butter with another tablespoon of cookie dough.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft.
- Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on each cookie cup while they’re hot, then cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Cool the cookie cups slightly before serving.
