Description

A hearty vegetarian lasagna packed with layers of cheese, spinach, and marinara sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups spinach, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions.
  3. Mix ricotta cheese, spinach, egg, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
  4. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  6. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
  7. Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella on top.
  8. Repeat the layers once more, ending with noodles and sauce.
  9. Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the cheese is golden.
  11. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Let the lasagna sit for a few minutes before cutting for cleaner slices.
