- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the heavy cream. Stir frequently until it begins to simmer.
- Incorporate half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese into the cream, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Place the chicken breasts back into the skillet, spooning the creamy cheese sauce over them.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top, along with the crumbled bacon.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- This dish pairs well with a side of vegetables or mashed potatoes.
