Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and espresso powder until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated. Then mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing just until combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop dollops of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart. Bake for about 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
