Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mixing until incorporated.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Portion dough into tablespoon-sized pieces, roll into ropes about 5-6 inches long, and twist them into shapes.
  5. If needed, chill the formed twists on a tray for 10 minutes.
