A refreshing and tangy lemonade that’s a classic at summer fairs, easy to make, and perfect for warm days.
Ingredients

- 5–6 medium-sized lemons, juiced
- 200 g (1 cup) granulated sugar
- 240 ml (1 cup) warm water
- 720 ml (3 cups) cold water
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- Combine the granulated sugar with warm water in a pitcher, whisking until the sugar is dissolved, about 1–2 minutes.
- Juice the lemons until you have about 240 ml of lemon juice, straining out seeds and pulp if desired.
- Add the lemon juice to the sugar syrup and stir well. Optionally, mix in a pinch of salt.
- Pour in cold water, taste, and adjust sweetness as needed with more sugar or lemon juice.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until well chilled, then serve over ice.
Notes
Taste and adjust sweetness before serving. Can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
