Ingredients
Scale
- 500 g (1 lb) Steak (tender cuts like sirloin or ribeye)
- 2 Bell Peppers (any color)
- 1 large Onion
- 60 ml (¼ cup) Olive Oil
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, and salt and pepper according to your taste.
- Cut the Steak and Vegetables: Cut the steak into 2.5 cm (1 inch) cubes. Chop the bell peppers and onion into similarly sized pieces.
- Marinate the Steak: Add the steak cubes to the marinade, covering them completely. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Assemble the Skewers: Thread the steak and vegetables onto the skewers, alternating between them.
- Heat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 200°C / 400°F).
- Grill the Kabobs: Place the skewers on the grill, cooking for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until the steak reaches an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F).
- Serve: Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using a mix of different spices in the marinade, like paprika or cumin. Marinate the steak the night before for deeper flavor penetration.
