Description

Steak kabobs are a flavorful and easy way to enjoy grilled meat on a stick, combining juicy steak with colorful vegetables for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 500 g (1 lb) Steak (tender cuts like sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 Bell Peppers (any color)
  • 1 large Onion
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) Olive Oil
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, and salt and pepper according to your taste.
  2. Cut the Steak and Vegetables: Cut the steak into 2.5 cm (1 inch) cubes. Chop the bell peppers and onion into similarly sized pieces.
  3. Marinate the Steak: Add the steak cubes to the marinade, covering them completely. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Assemble the Skewers: Thread the steak and vegetables onto the skewers, alternating between them.
  5. Heat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 200°C / 400°F).
  6. Grill the Kabobs: Place the skewers on the grill, cooking for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until the steak reaches an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F).
  7. Serve: Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using a mix of different spices in the marinade, like paprika or cumin. Marinate the steak the night before for deeper flavor penetration.
