Ingredients

  • 113 g (1 stick, softened) Butter
  • 150 g (¾ cup) Granulated Sugar
  • 50 g (¼ cup) Brown Sugar
  • 5 g (1 tsp) Baking Powder
  • 1 g (¼ tsp) Salt
  • 1 large Egg
  • 226 g (8 oz, softened) Cream Cheese
  • 120 g (1 cup) Powdered Sugar
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) Vanilla Extract
  • Fresh Fruits (e.g., strawberries, kiwi, blueberries)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add this dry mixture to the creamed butter mixture while mixing on low speed until just combined.
  3. Add the egg to the dough and mix until incorporated. Transfer the dough into a greased 9-inch round baking pan, spreading it evenly across the bottom and slightly up the sides.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown. Let it cool completely in the pan.
  5. Prepare the glaze by beating together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  6. Spread the cream cheese glaze evenly over the cooled crust. Arrange fresh fruits on top, artfully decorating the surface.
